I signed up mid-April '09. Until now, some two weeks since my signup, my downtime monitor reported nothing, so their uptime is still 100%.
Dring the first 12 days or so they had a serious Return DNS and/or spam problem, resulting in my outgoing e-mails being blocked and bounced by many ISP's. I opened a support ticket which was answered quite quickly, and lo and behold, the outgoing e-mail bounce problem vanished, enabling me te send e-mail messages freely from my domain on their server.
To summarize, I had some birth pangs and anxious moments with my new host, but they are responsive and trying hard to fix problems. Ihey keep this going, they have in me a satisfied customer. Only time will tell. Intermediate verdict: positive.

Worst service ever. DO NOT sign up. Urgent matter? You could write them a thousand times, they complete ignore you. Often slow. If you're lucky they may respond. My website has already been down for days now, cause they have done something stupid. The just don't reply. 99,9% uptime? It's a lie. 24/7 support? The opposite: 24/7 no support. They need to be sued.
PS Stupid question to ask people to judge the price. The price is a fact, not something arbritrary. Why not asking people to rate the value for money?

you cannot buy a domain with them in a weekend or friday at night, because system do' not register your domain really, and then you must wait until they activate this (but you are charged inmediatly at your credit card) and no excuses or anything about problems, I lost 4 days for host 1 domain buyed with 1dollar-webhosting.
it's ok for your blog or stuff but never never for refer a friend/customer or alien.

I am a customer of 1dollar-webhosting.com and have been very impressed with the speed of the server, uptime of the server and support. On the rare occasion that there has been a very small problem, my support ticket has been answered within 30 minutes and the problem fixed.
Honestly, you will not find a better company for this price. I bought the Silver plan and cost $1 per month. I haven't had any downtime yet.

Very slow and Not as advertized. They advertize unlimited space which is what I bought but they shut me down for using to much space without ever contacting me? They don't offer what they advertize, are a ripoff, and should be avoided!

The absolute worst Please people save yourself the grief and DO NOT host with these clowns. Im in the midst of transferring my site now and the cpanel stopped working, the ftp is SO slow it cant even download 20mb of stuff, keeps shutting off after about 60+ attempts. Just a mess. I beg you, please do not host with these idiots. I put a support ticket in 2 weeks ago and still no response. Just dirty.

Sad Sad Company product they provide is great but if you want tech support from your hosting provider then forget it.
They advertise 24/7 tech support but they lie and don't hardly provide any. To give you an excample i still have a outstanding support ticket which they still have'nt answered in 3 days. And thats rubbish to say the least.
I suppose you get what you pay for with this company

1dollar-webhosting.com is great! I purchased a web hosting plan few months ago and I can`t say a single bad thing about them. For me they are the best budget service provider there is. Great value for money and my website is always online. Their uptime is very good. I use their $1 hosting plan. They have a Ssd had drives which makes the servers fast. I am very happy with the service because I can get reliable service at the lowest price.

The absolute worst than worst I should have read the previous reviews BEFORE...my site is down after I upgraded to https. the funny thing is that AFTER i upgraded I started having issues. my site was forwarded to a domain in china, Google reported my site as unsafe due to the many redirects?! …and they keep wanting to "change servers" I went from http://138.128.188...to http://26.185.188...they keep offering this as a resolution for my site being down. Right now, my site reports this site can’t be reached...refused to connect. Sunday, the database lost connection while we were working on it...we do accounting from it so ALL of our clients files are LOST. the cpanel do not allow us to make any changes...

The WORST EVER service provider. They take upto 96hrs to solve a ticket. They know how incompetent they are hence cant even put a place for testimonials because they know many are frustrated by their services. They seem to have put server restrictions such that you cant upload files to your server. I wish i hadnt paid for these service. Anyway when they expire be sure to perform domain transfer to get a better service provider

Worse hosting ever, very slow response and irresponsibility. I have 2 services with them. The server configuration not too bad with the price but one of them is disappeared with no reason and all of my 5 sites hosted there got broken. It took me 2 weeks to muck around with the support team with no any result. Do not go with them if you do not wanna waste your time, it destroys your working day dealing with them. They fucked.

I have never been disappointed by 1dollarwebhosting. I have hosted several websites (about 5 of them) and even referred their hosting service to my colleagues. Though their support is slow but recently noticed their response is now fast.
I have never experienced downtime with their servers and even when there are glitches it get sorted before i message support.
They are great and i will continue to use them for my domains.

its nice and cheap for sure so if you are happy to wait a week for support and then send a support ticket to let them know that your support tickets have been outstanding for a week and still remain unanswered these are the guys for you.
Aspects of the server are not active and the instructions provided to users on setting their emails up are completely outdated

Years ago 10+ years ago I used 1dolar-webhosting. It was cheap reliable and worked for what I needed. I figured I would use them again. Their service is still cheap, but you get what you pay for. There is ZERO customer service. Don't even bother submitting a support ticket because they will not respond to it. They also advertise a '30 day money back guarantee.' That is also a scam. DO NOT USE 1dollar webhosting!
